BBFILM takes an ethical, eco-positive and socially conscious approach to the work we make, and we are committed to creating a more sustainable screen industry. Based in London and Bristol, we are proud to promote the South West as our film-making centre, and to help generate 'good growth' in the region.

In 2017 Bristol was designated a UNESCO City of Film, recognising the city's achievements as a world leader in the field of film and the moving image. Ben is a fellow at Bristol University Film and Television department where he designed the popular screenwriting programme, and uses his academic platform to advocate for sustainable film practise with a new generation of film makers.​ 

Ben also serves as writer and executive producer on select projects with Denzil Monk's eco-minded BOSENA, an international feature film and TV production company. Bosena are leaders in sustainable, circular material film making and eco-fiction. Ben is active in the area of impact producing, where sustainable film-making, activism, impact, well-being, content and production processes, align, to promote positive local, global and universal change, in both the human and more-than-human environment.
